Responsibilities:
Ø Managing, designing, developing, creating, and maintaining large scale construction projects
Ø Conducting on-site investigations and analysing data
Ø Assessing potential risks, materials, and costs As a Civil Engineer,
Ø Manage, design, develop, create, and maintain small-scale through to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner.
Ø Conduct on site investigations and analyse data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other)
Ø Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications.
Ø Supervise the foundation investigation and installation/ constructions of projects.

Ø Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies.
Ø Forecast possible problems that could emerge on project sites.
Ø Manage end to end project delivery inclusive of site personnel management.
Ø Monitor progress and compile reports on project status.
Ø Manage equipment breakdown and regulatory complaint on site.
Ø Gathering data on exhilarating conditions at construction sites, including soil conditions, land elevations, or seismic activity.
Ø Administering tests to measure physical properties such as the tensile strength of materials.
Ø Educating drawings, sketches charts, and schematics to document proposals for new construction projects.
Ø Evaluating blueprints and other design documents to ensure that they meet the code requirement.
Ø Harmonizing with architects and other designers to ensure that plans meet the needs of the client while meeting government regulations that might apply to specific projects.
Ø Supervise the foundation investigation and installation/ constructions of projects.
Ø Work with surveyors to get exact points for piles to be installed.
Ø Decide on equipment and quantity of materials required to execute project.
Ø Supervise equipment set up for project commencement.
Ø Carrying out other duties as assigned by the team lead.

Requirements and skills
2-4 years' experience working as a civil engineer.
BSC/HND in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 2nd class lower/merit
Excellent attention to details with a high level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.
Experience in foundation piling
Working knowledge of the construction/engineering industry.
Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar
Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals etc.
Project management and supervision skills
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
Professional engineering license
Solid analytical and mathematical skills.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
