Job Summary:
The HSE Project Lead will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring health, safety, and environmental (HSE) strategies to ensure compliance with local and international safety standards. The role requires strong leadership in enforcing safety procedures, conducting risk assessments, and driving a proactive safety culture across project sites.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure full compliance with all HSE regulations, standards, and policies (e.g., ISO, OSHA, DPR).
* Develop, implement, and maintain safety procedures, training programs, and emergency response plans.
* Lead investigations into incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.
* Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement.
* Conduct routine site inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments.
* Advise project teams and management on best practices to minimize workplace hazards.
* Coordinate and supervise HSE Officers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to maintain safe work conditions.
* Conduct regular safety audits and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to HSE standards.
Requirements:
* Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
* 4-7 years of relevant experience in HSE management within the Oil & Gas industry.
* Strong knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and other applicable HSE frameworks.
* Proven experience leading safety initiatives in large-scale projects.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
* Professional HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, ISPON) are an added advantage.
