Job Title: Quantity Surveyor / CAD Designer / Structural Engineer

Overview:

Our client, a reputable firm is seeking young, detail-oriented, and driven professionals for the roles of Estimator/Quantity Surveyor, CAD Designer, and Structural Engineer. These roles are ideal for candidates passionate about shaping infrastructure with precision and technical excellence.

Eligibility Criteria (For All Roles):

  • Must possess a minimum of a Second Class Upper Division (2:1) or Upper Credit in HND/BSc from a recognized institution.
  • 0-2 years of relevant work experience in Civil/Structural Engineering role.
  • Applicants must not be older than 28 years at the time of application.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive mindset.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a structured engineering environment.

1. Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tenders for construction projects.
  • Track changes to designs and adjust budget projections accordingly.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk analyses.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and project managers.
  • Ensure projects remain within budget and maintain quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • HND/BSc in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Proficiency in cost management software is an added advantage.

2. CAD Designer

Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed technical drawings and plans using CAD software.
  • Collaborate with engineers and architects to interpret project specifications.
  • Revise drawings based on feedback or design changes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all drafts and modifications.

Qualifications:

  • HND/BSc in Architecture, Drafting Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software is required.

3. Structural Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Design, analyze, and plan structural components of buildings and infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with industry codes and safety standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and provide technical reports.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers during project development.

Qualifications:

  • HND/BSc in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
  • Familiarity with structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD Pro, ETABS) is a plus.
  • COREN registration is an advantage but not mandatory.
