Job Title: Enterprise Risk Manager

Job Summary

Our client, foremost new-age financial solutions powerhouse in Africa is hiring an Enterprise Risk Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining a risk management framework for the organization; monitoring risks, ensuring that they are within approved guidelines and best practice.The will also manage tracking the status of corrective actions as part of our organization’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework, and lead the regular reporting for the business, as required both by the Board and our regulators.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

• Drive the design and implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management framework in alignment with our business needs and strategic objectives.

• Provide a policy framework for the risk appetite for the Group.

• Present a risk assessment plan for the key risks the Group faces, continuous plan on mitigating this risk.

• Champion the entrenchment of a best practice risk management culture in the organization.

• Lead the identification, communication, measurement, and management of company-wide risks.

• Lead the completion of risk assessments to identify current and emerging risks.

• Continuously monitor and update the risk registers and appropriate risk tools.

• Work with different business teams to evaluate existing processes and recommend process improvements as required.

• Provide guidance and training to promote risk control awareness, ownership, and accountability.

• Deliver on enterprise risk reporting requirements for Executive Management, the Board and regulators.

• Develop and manage business continuity and disaster recovery strategies and programs for the organization.

• Identify and evaluate any significant risks and opportunities within our businesses and develop risk profiles for the organization.

• Explore and analyze company key performance indicators/metrics and identify risk trends to be incorporated into organization’s risk register.

Qualification and Experience

• Significant experience (10+ years’) experience in Enterprise Risk management within the Banking/Financial services industry.

• Relevant professional certification(s) in Risk Management.

• Minimum of first degree or its equivalent in disciplines such as Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Banking, Finance, or related fields

• Solid understanding of financial market instruments.

• Strong knowledge of SEC and CBN regulations and requirements for the businesses we operate.

Salary:N20m- N25m pa gross
