Job Summary

The Manager, Corporate Strategy and Development will provide high-level strategic and executive support to the Group CEO, while owning responsibilities for corporate strategy and corporate development, including project development initiatives. The Manager, Corporate Strategy and Development will act as a strategic partner to the GCEO, ensuring seamless communication, project coordination, and effective decision-making support across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct periodic in-depth market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and industry trend
    assessments to inform strategic planning and guide corporate decision-making process.
  • Work closely with the GCEO and leadership team to define, refine and align business plans
    and strategic initiatives with the company's long-term vision and objectives
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the GCEO, providing insights and recommendations on key
    business matters by providing data-driven insights and scenario analysis.
  • Develop and own strategic roadmaps for the long-term business plans to guide and support
    expansion, diversification, and value creation initiatives.
  • Coordinate periodic business performance and develop performance-monitoring dashboard
    as part of business performance management to track and report on companys key performance indicators (KPIs), and towards providing actionable insights to ensure key
    assumptions and risks underpinning the strategic business plan remain relevant
  • Coordinate periodic executive business meetings and track outcomes/commitments to
    ensure timely completion and submission of deliverables
  • Assist in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities, joint ventures and strategic partnership
    initiatives including due diligence and integration planning.
  • Participate in and monitor special projects across functional teams as needed to ensure
    project objectives are delivered
  • Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and briefing materials for board meetings,
    investor engagements, and internal/external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7-10 years post NYSC professional experience in corporate finance, financial analysis and reporting. Consulting experience would be an advantage.
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field. Masters degree and/or relevant professional certification

Salary: 25M- 35M (Negotiable)
