Chief Technology Officer

As the CTO, you will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the company. You will work with the executive team to grow the company through the use of technological resources. Using an active and practical approach, you will direct all employees in Products, IT and development departments to attain the companys strategic goals established in the companys strategic plan.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Technology Strategy and Vision: Develop and implement the technical aspects of the companys strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals.
• Product Development: Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture. Lead the design, development, and deployment of innovative digital payment solutions.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, manage, and mentor the IT and engineering team. Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and customer-centric development.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (product, operations, sales, marketing) to define and deliver new products and enhancements.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure the security of company data and digital transactions. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Innovation and Research: Stay abreast of new technologies and fintech trends. Evaluate and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage.
• Budget Management: Manage technology budgets and timeframes. Optimize spending and resource allocation.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a CTO, Head of Technology, or similar leadership role in a fintech or digital payments company.
• Extensive experience with system architecture, backend and frontend development, and cloud technologies.
• Strong knowledge of data analytics, cybersecurity, and financial regulations.
•  Experience in project management, product management, and agile methodologies.
•  Excellent leadership and team management skills.
•  Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
•  BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or other relevant graduate degree is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with payment processing systems and financial transaction security.
•  Familiarity with blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies.
•  Experience in scaling tech operations in a startup environment.
•  Knowledge of machine learning and AI applications in fintech.
