Electrical Engineer

Location: VI, Lagos State.

Our client, a business consulting firm, is hiring an experienced Electrical Engineer. The candidate is responsible for managing all electrical assets of the company including installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance. The candidate is also responsible for electrical installations at all locations owned by the business.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Design, implement, maintain, trouble-shoot, repair, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components in the terminal and other company sites

Direct, and coordinate all electrical installations repairs and servicing in the terminal

Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment

Investigate and test suppliers products for compliance to industry standards and specifications

Develop budget estimates, labor cost, materials and installation of electrical materials

Plan, schedule, and carry out regular preventive maintenance of all electrical equipment and components in the terminal

Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformity to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.

Performs supervisory role in electrical related issues and personnel

Any other duties they may be assigned.

Education/ Requirements

Candidates must possess a B.Sc. Electrical Engineering or its equivalent.

Possession of a project management certification is desirable.

Candidates must have 3-5 years relevant experience in terminal operations.
