Job Title - Associate Financial Consultant
Location: Wuse2, Abuja
Our client is seeking to hire an Associate Financial Consultant. The ideal candidate will work closely with experienced financial consultants to support various aspects of client service, financial planning, and investment management.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in gathering and organizing client financial information, including income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
Prepare and maintain client files and documentation.
Respond to client inquiries and provide basic financial information.
Assist in conducting financial analyses to support the development of comprehensive financial plans.
Help assess clients' risk tolerance, investment preferences, and financial goals.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client data in financial planning tools and databasesAssist in the organization and analysis of financial reports and statements.
Handle administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, preparing paperwork, and managing office processes.
Support the compliance and documentation requirements of the financial consultancy.
Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance financial knowledge and skills.
Work towards obtaining relevant industry certifications.
Collaborate with other team members, including senior consultants, analysts, and administrative staff, to ensure smooth operations
EDUCATION/ REQUIREMENTS
A degree in Accounting or a related field
Professional certification as a Chartered Accountant
Experience with financial statement preparation, audit, and tax compliance
Proficiency with relevant accounting software such as Sage, Xero and Quickbooks
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with Nigeria's tax laws and regulations is a plus
Salary; 150k
