About the job Field Superintendent
The Field Superintendent is to oversee the operations, maintenance, and optimization of the flow-station while ensuring compliance to health & safety policies and regulations.
Responsibilties
- Monitor daily productions and quality control performance records, identifying inefficiencies and taking responsive and corrective actions where necessary.
- Report daily production/evacuation targets to Line manager and all other stakeholders.
- Manage delegation of production tasks to team leads and line reports and ensures proper staffing for all tasks.
- Develop and implement strategies and training toward
- accomplishing organizational goals and values.
- Coordinate and monitor flow of production; is able to forecast work and notice potential problems in workflow.
- Lead the daily toolbox meeting and HSSE moments.
- Supervise and monitor all maintenance and Operations activities in the FS.
- Conducting first line reviews for all Flow-station (FS) personnel performance.
- Ensuring all Process and utility equipment are functioning properly, and readily available for use.
- Preparing annual budgets and work schedule.
- Always maintaining quality service in both Operations and Maintenance related activities.
- Ensuring production plans are completed in time with Zero downtime. Coordinate, Collaborate and develop healthy working relations with other support & technical teams.
- Identifying and troubleshooting Operations/production issues. Prepare reports on performance and progress and present them to senior managers.
- Perform verification of production output according to specifications prior distributing reports.
- Lead by example: Sets expectations for staff and monitors delegated activities
Requirements
- Extensive Project management knowledge.
- Great People Skills
- Interpreting and ensuring compliance to safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals to field workers
- A degree in Business Administration, engineering, preferably civil/structural, mechanical, chemical, or electrical engineering, or any related technical/operational discipline.
- A minimum of 7 years of Supervisory experience in the said role in Nigerian Oil and Gas industry.
