Job Summary
Our client, a leading company in asset management and real estate, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Facility Officer to oversee the maintenance and operations of rooms and apartments within their estate in Ikoyi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the properties are well-maintained, safe, and efficiently managed while coordinating with vendors, service providers, and residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily management and maintenance of rooms and apartments within the estate.
- Conduct regular inspections and implement preventive maintenance plans to ensure facilities remain in top condition.
- Coordinate repairs, renovations, and servicing of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Manage relationships with service providers, vendors, and contractors to ensure quality service delivery.
- Address resident complaints and facility-related requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor and maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service contracts, and vendor agreements.
- Collaborate with the property management team to improve operational efficiency.
Key Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in facility management, particularly in residential properties, rooms, or serviced apartments.
- Strong knowledge of building maintenance, repairs, and estate management.
- Experience managing vendors, contractors, and service providers.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management software is an advantage.
Salary: 200k
