 Job Title: Chemical Engineer

Project: Pipeline Construction(Horizontal Directional Drilling)

Location: Warri Delta State

Chemical Engineers with experience in Horizontal Directional Drilling for pipeline construction 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop chemical processes for the extraction, refining, and transportation of oil and gas.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and perform process simulations to optimize operations.
  • Analyze process data and troubleshoot operational issues to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with environmental and safety teams to ensure all operations adhere to regulations and best practices.
  • Develop and implement process control strategies to enhance production reliability.
  • Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation for project proposals and presentations.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes.
  • Participate in risk assessments and safety audits for chemical processes.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to project teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 5 of experience in the Pipeline Construction
  • Strong knowledge of chemical processes, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.
  • Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS).
  • Familiarity with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in teams.
