Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer
Web and mobile applications
Location: Victoria Island Lagos

Job Summary: The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of testing
methodologies, as well as experience in testing complex web applications using tools
such as Selenium, Appium, Jmeter, Postman, and Cypress.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain test plans and test cases to ensure comprehensive test
coverage
Design and execute manual and automated tests for new and existing features
Work closely with the development team to identify and resolve issues
Collaborate with the product team to understand requirements and translate
them into test cases
Continuously monitor and improve the testing process to ensure the highest
quality standards
Utilize tools such as Selenium, Zephyrscale, Postman, and Cypress to automate
testing and improve efficiency
Report and track defects and ensure timely resolution
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of testing best
practices
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in QA testing for web and mobile applications
Experience with manual and automated testing methodologies
Strong understanding of testing best practices and design patterns
Experience with Git and Git workflows
Experience with automated testing tools such as Cypress or Selenium
Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Additional Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with load testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling
Familiarity with agile development methodologies
Familiarity with performance testing
Experience with testing mobile applications
