The role involves executing maintenance and inspections according to agreed workflows, resolving breakdowns promptly, and ensuring faulty components are repaired for reuse. Responsibilities include organizing maintenance activities, maintaining machine and workshop conditions, and auditing machine areas for reliability.

Responsiblities

  • Execute the maintenance and inspections in compliance with the agreed maintenance concept (work-flow control).
  • Provide support to resolve breakdowns within the shortest time.
  • Ensure faulty components are repaired and made available for reuse.
  • Assist in organizing maintenance stoppages, maintenance overhauls and other maintenance activities.
  • Keep the machines, tools, workshop in good condition. Identify maintenance components (consumable spare parts) to keep in stock, with focus around the dedicated work area (Machine)
  • Carry out audit on work area (Machine) with the aim to ensure machine reliability and availability for production activities.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • First Degree or its equivalent
  • Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Membership of NSE and COREN certified is added advantage
  • At least 5 years post-NYSC practical, job-relevant experience in a well structured FMCG (botting) company, with specific expertise in Krones Machines.
  • Nature of Work: Shift
