Job Summary
The function of the Procurement Analyst is to assist the purchasing process and provide a roadmap for store management, and stock optimization.
Work with procurement management to develop global procurement strategies that result in cost savings, optimized purchasing power, aggregated cross-department spending, and a consistent service level for the company.
The Procurement Analyst will provide expertise in the end-to-end SAP Contract process and systems and contribute to the implementation and maintenance of existing processes based on business needs and performance.
Main Responsibilities
Receive Materials Request Form from Sites
Collaborate with The Procurement Manager to process purchase orders, organize and confirm delivery of quality goods and services.
Ensure assigned capital budgets are closely monitored and not exceeded.
Assist with the implementation of a local supply chain strategy.
Assist with supplier management activities and executes supplier compliance activities for assigned suppliers.
Evaluate and analyze incumbent and potential suppliers by applying established evaluation and selection criteria.
Ensure that activities surrounding dealings with suppliers are conducted under the auspices of QHSE and good business practices.
Assess new suppliers and capabilities to ensure the company is working with the right capability at the best possible cost.
Assures suppliers deliver materials and services in accordance with standards of price, time, quantity, and quality agreed upon.
Maintenance of SharePoint database to hold relevant, complete, and accurate information thus enabling immediate data mining whenever required.
Ensure procurement processes are initiated and maintained in the Companys ERP/SAP systems; assess upgrade requirements to the current ERP/SAP systems and lead in setting development requirements.
Ensures all invoices are audited for compliance with contract terms including contract closeout.
Prepare periodic Procurement and NCDMB reports.
Person Specification Education and Training
The Procurement Analyst should have a Minimum of a bachelors degree (B.Eng.) in Engineering, Procurement Management, Business Administration or any related discipline. A masters degree would be an added advantage.
Preferably a member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS).
Familiarity with Procurement process and reporting is necessary.
Work Experience
Minimum of 4 years experience in similar role in the Oil & Gas, Construction/Fabrication - EPCI related environment/Sector which includes preparing order specifications, estimates and bids.
Experienced in workflows creation, operating procedures and developing guidelines.
