Job Summary:

A leading Human Resource Organization is seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team. As the HRBP, you will serve as a key liaison between the business units and the HR function, driving the implementation of HR strategies and initiatives that align with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an HRBP, demonstrating a strong understanding of HR practices, employee relations, talent management, and organizational development.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Partnership:

  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand their objectives and challenges, providing strategic HR guidance to drive business success.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to management, offering insights and solutions to enhance employee engagement, performance, and overall organizational effectiveness.

  • Outsourcing Talent Management:

  • Collaborate with business units to identify outsourcing needs and facilitate workforce planning for external talent requirements.

  • Develop and implement outsourcing talent management strategies, including vendor selection, onboarding processes, training coordination, and initiatives to ensure effective and seamless outsourcing partnerships.

  • Employee Relations:

  • Proactively address and resolve employee relations issues, ensuring a positive work environment and promoting a culture of open communication and collaboration.

  • Conduct investigations, as needed, and provide guidance on disciplinary actions and conflict resolution.

  • Performance Management:

  • Drive the performance management process, including goal-setting, performance reviews, and development planning.

  • Provide coaching and support to managers in addressing performance-related matters.

  • Organizational Development:

  • Collaborate with leadership to assess organizational needs and develop programs that enhance employee skills, engagement, and overall performance.

  • Support change management initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

  • HR Policy Implementation:

  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures, keeping abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations.

  • Provide guidance on policy interpretation and compliance.

  • Employee Engagement:

  • Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.

  • Conduct regular surveys and feedback sessions to assess and address employee needs.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Utilize HR analytics to assess key HR metrics and trends, providing insights for informed decision-making.

  • Prepare regular reports on HR-related activities and metrics for management review.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar HR role.

  • Solid understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and industry trends.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.

  • Proven ability to handle employee relations issues with discretion and sensitivity.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach.

  • Experience in outsourcing, talent management, performance management, and organizational development.

  • Familiarity with HRIS and proficiency in MS Office applications.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Membership in relevant HR professional associations is a plus.

  • Availability for occasional travel, as needed.


Salary: N400,000 - N450,000 PM
