Job Summary

The Partnerships Manager will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of a corporate sponsorship strategy for Non -profit with the mission of putting Nigerians back to work. This individual will work closely with internal stakeholders to identify sponsorship opportunities, build relationships with corporate partners, and secure funding to support our programs and initiatives.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate sponsorship strategy to support the organization's mission.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential corporate sponsors, including conducting research, creating proposals, and making presentations.
  • Manage the end-to-end sponsorship process, including contract negotiations, fulfillment, and reporting.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to identify sponsorship opportunities that align with organizational priorities and initiatives.
  • Ensure that all sponsorship deliverables are met, including branding, recognition, and engagement opportunities for corporate partners.
  • Monitor sponsorship revenue and expenses, and provide regular reports on financial performance to senior leadership.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the corporate sponsorship program, including gathering feedback from stakeholders and making recommendations for enhancements.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to corporate sponsorship and fundraising.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in corporate sponsorship, fundraising, or sales, preferably in a non-profit or social impact organization.
  • Demonstrated success in securing corporate sponsorships, including a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Nigerian business and social landscape, including cultural norms, business practices, and regulatory environment.
