About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Estimator Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing cost estimates, analyzing project budgets, and supporting procurement processes, gaining hands-on experience in construction project cost management. This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and contribute to meaningful infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects.

• Support the procurement team in sourcing materials and services.

• Conduct data collection and analysis to assist in project budgeting.

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and designers to ensure accurate cost planning.

• Assist in preparing tender documents, bill of quantities (BOQs), and cost reports.

• Participate in project progress tracking and cost reporting.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a minimum of a Second Class Upper Division (2:1) or Upper Credit in HND/BSc in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field from a recognized institution.

• 0–2 years of relevant experience in construction cost estimation or related role.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and construction estimation software is an advantage.

• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail.

• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.

• Eagerness to learn and grow in a structured construction environment.
