Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven General Manager, Sales to lead and drive sales performance across FMCG operations. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the Food and Beverage manufacturing sector, with a strong track record of building high-performing sales teams, expanding market presence, and delivering sustainable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue, volume, and market share targets
  • Lead, mentor, and manage regional and national sales teams to drive high performance
  • Identify new market opportunities, distribution channels, and strategic partnerships
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners
  • Collaborate with marketing, production, and supply chain teams to align sales forecasts with operational capacity
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and prepare regular reports for executive management
  • Manage sales budgets, pricing strategies, and trade promotions to ensure profitability
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is an added advantage)
  • Minimum of 10 years progressive experience in sales leadership within the FMCG Sector
  • Proven experience managing large sales teams and distributor networks
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship management abilities
  • Willingness to be based in Ogun State
