About the job Maintenance Engineer

Job responsibilities:

Plan and implement preventive maintenance strategies to meet production operations’ requirements at all times. Ensure effective use of documented data on bottling equipment and allied facilities for excellent asset care. Plan and monitor the maintenance requirements and cost in relation to maintenance plan and budget

Conduct overhauling of bottling equipment and assembly parts (e.g. Filler, blow molder, Conveyor systems, Labeler, shrink wrapper, Palletizer, Utility equipment, Water treatment/syrup room Equipment and ETP) for equipment exchange program.

Manage machine specialists and other Technical personnel to improve knowledge and skill on bottling / utility and ETP equipment maintenance.

Ensure total compliance to all safety rules, regulations and requirements pertaining to the quality of the product, workers/public/contractor’s safety and environmental pollution.

Coordinate maintenance of equipment to minimize effect on environment and eliminate Food Safety Hazards

Manage the receipt, storage, use and disposal of oil as per regulatory requirement.

Ensure bottling equipment and utilities operate to reduce emission impact.

Maintain Boilers and compressors to conform to energy consumption targets.

Store, use and dispose hazardous materials in line with best practice.

Create awareness and training of associates on EOSH and on environmental regulatory /best practice requirements

Job requirements:

Minimum of B.Eng., BSC, HND (Electrical Engineering) Electrical/Electronics, Control Engineering, Automation

Engineering.

Professional certifications, such as COREN, NSE, IEEE, is

required

Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in maintenance preferably in a manufacturing / production environment
