Structural Engineer (Entry-level )-Iyana Ipaja

Job title: Structural Engineer (Entry-level / Fresh Graduate) 

Location: Iyana Ipaja, Lagos 

Work Mode— Full-time, Onsite Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM–7:00 PM

Key requirement: Data analysis or Excel( Use of VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables

Overview:
We are hiring a fresh graduate Structural Engineer with excellent Excel skill. You'll support structural design and project work using strong data-analysis skills in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) alongside basic engineering tasks.

Core responsibilities:

• Build and maintain Excel-based models for loads, material quantities, cost estimates, and schedules.
• Use VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables, charts, and data validation to clean, summarize, and analyze project data.
• Prepare automated reports (BOQ summaries, material take-offs, progress trackers) for engineers and management.
• Assist with structural calculations and drawing preparation; support checking of shop drawings and as-built docs.
• Support site visits: collect data, record measurements/observations, and update Excel trackers.
• Coordinate with project teams/contractors; follow up on deliverables and documentation.
• Maintain QA/QC logs, project registers, and version-controlled files.

Non-negotiable requirements:

• HND/B.Eng/B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• NYSC discharge certificate (completed) or Exemption letter—required.
• Advanced Excel skills: VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables, SUMIFS, data validation, charts; ability to clean and validate large datasets.
• Clear, accurate reporting and attention to detail.
• Availability to work Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–7:00 PM at Iyana Ipaja.

Preferred (not required):

• Basic structural analysis/design software or AutoCAD exposure.
