About the Role:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Junior Project Manager with a solid civil engineering background and proven expertise in managing high-rise building projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to oversee construction activities from inception to completion while ensuring adherence to quality, budget, and timeline expectations.
This is a hands-on role requiring deep understanding of structural systems, project coordination, and contractor management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of high-rise construction projects.
- Coordinate all phases of construction from initial planning through final completion.
- Supervise site engineers, subcontractors, and construction teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines; identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Prepare and review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications in collaboration with consultants.
- Liaise with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical challenges.
- Prepare and present project reports, updates, and documentation to senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-3 years experience in project management, specifically in high-rise building construction.
- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and construction methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Professional certifications in project management (PMP) are an added advantage.
