Job Description:

My client, who we are exclusively working with  the biggest Crypto brand in the world, is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head/Director of HR for Europe. This is a full-time position based in Valletta, Malta.

As the Head/Director of HR for Europe, you will be responsible for overseeing all HR operations and strategies for our rapidly growing company in the European market. You must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in overall HR, with a proven track record of success in a high-growth tech startup or corporate environment.

While prior experience in the Crypto industry is not required, you must have a strong understanding of EU laws and regulations related to HR, as well as the ability to perform at a senior level. Your role will be crucial in ensuring our company complies with all legal requirements and maintains a positive and productive work environment for our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement HR strategies and policies for our European operations, in alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives

- Oversee all aspects of employee relations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee development

- Ensure compliance with all EU laws and regulations related to HR, including but not limited to employment contracts, data protection, and health and safety

- Manage and maintain HR systems, processes, and procedures to support the growth and success of our company

- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including but not limited to employee relations, performance issues, and career development

- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our HR processes and policies

- Collaborate with other departments and senior management to drive a positive and inclusive company culture

- Oversee and manage the HR budget for Europe, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency in all HR activities

- Lead and develop a team of HR professionals to support the growth and success of our company

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in overall HR, with a track record of success in a high-growth tech startup or corporate environment

- Exceptional understanding of EU laws and regulations related to HR

- Strong leadership skills and the ability to perform at a senior level

- Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies and policies

- Experience in managing and developing a team of HR professionals

- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

- A proactive and results-driven mindset

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
