About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Recruiter to manage the full hiring process for remote BIM and MEP drafting positions. This person will be responsible for sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and maintaining an organized candidate pipeline.

The recruiter must understand how to evaluate candidates for technical design and drafting roles, including mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler, and BIM positions.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment for multiple BIM, drafting, and engineering positions.

• Source candidates through LinkedIn and other recruiting platforms.

• Develop sourcing strategies based on each role's required software, technical background, and experience level.

• Review resumes and portfolios for relevant project experience.

• Conduct initial screening interviews.

• Confirm candidates' software proficiency, technical experience, communication skills, availability, and compensation expectations.

• Coordinate technical assessments and interviews with project leadership.

• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment status updates.

• Follow up consistently with candidates throughout the hiring process.

• Provide regular reports on applicant volume, candidate quality, sourcing activity, and hiring progress.

• Identify when low applicant volume or poor candidate quality may be caused by the job title, location, requirements, or sourcing strategy.

• Recommend adjustments to job titles and candidate targeting when needed.

Requirements

• Experience recruiting for engineering, construction, architecture, BIM, CAD, or other technical roles.

• Ability to understand technical job descriptions and distinguish relevant experience from general drafting experience.

• Strong resume screening and interviewing skills.

• Excellent written and spoken English.

• Strong organization and follow-up skills.

• Comfortable managing several open positions simultaneously.

• Experience recruiting remote international candidates is preferred.
