Job Overview
We're hiring an IT systems/network administrator to join the higher-tier help desk/escalation team. This role serves as the go-to for complex issues that go beyond day-to-day support. You'll be responsible for advanced troubleshooting, system administration, and network support to ensure client environments remain secure, stable, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as an escalation point for advanced tickets from the Help Desk team
- Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Intune)
- Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server environments (AD, GPO, file/print services)
- Support and troubleshoot network infrastructure (firewalls, switches, VPNs, VLANs, WiFi)
- Manage accounts, permissions, and security policies
- Document troubleshooting steps, fixes, and client environment details in real time
- Collaborate directly with clients to resolve recurring issues and improve reliability
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in an MSP or IT support environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows desktops, servers, and Microsoft 365
- Working knowledge of networking (firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, Wi-Fi)
- Proven ability to resolve escalated issues efficiently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills (Phone & Email)
- Highly responsible, organized, and eager to grow
- Extremely committed and responsible
- Quick learner, resolution-oriented, hungry to grow
- Self-starter who looks for ways to improve processes & services
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco)
- Experience with PSA/RMM tools (Autotask, ConnectWise, N-able, etc.)
- Exposure to cloud hosting platforms (Azure, AWS)
