Masterpiece Precast is an architectural precast and cast stone manufacturer. The company creates custom exterior stone pieces for construction projects based on architectural drawings, designer drawings, window shop drawings, and project details.

Job Summary

We are hiring a hands-on Architectural Revit Drafter to work on shop drawings, production drawings, measurements, profiles, and project details for custom precast / cast stone projects.

This is not a general VA, admin, or basic drafting support role. The candidate must be able to work directly on drawings, review project files, and identify missing or conflicting information.

Key Responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings, designer drawings, and window shop drawings
• Gather and organize all required project information before starting the drawing work
• Create a checklist of received files, missing details, unclear items, and conflicts
• Prepare and revise shop drawings using Revit
• Identify correct sizes, profiles, joints, measurements, and production details
• Compare drawings and flag missing, conflicting, or unclear information
• Prepare drawing details needed for production and mold preparation
• Organize piece numbers, sizes, quantities, profiles, and related production details
• Ask clear questions when drawings or project details do not match
• Deliver completed work in PDF format when required

Requirements

• Must have strong hands-on Revit experience
• Must be able to read architectural, designer, and window shop drawings accurately
• Must have experience preparing or modifying shop drawings
• Strong understanding of measurements, elevations, profiles, sections, and building details
• Ability to compare multiple drawing sets and catch inconsistencies
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to work independently on real drafting tasks
• Clear communication and ability to ask questions when information is missing

Nice to Have

• AutoCAD experience
• Experience with point clouds or as-built conditions
• Experience with precast, cast stone, façade, masonry, exterior details, or architectural millwork
• Experience reviewing steel shop drawings or other specialty trade drawings when needed
• Experience with production drawings, molds, profiles, or fabrication details

Work Schedule

• Must be available to work during U.S. business hours

Application Requirement

Qualified candidates may be asked to complete a short test project using sample drawings.

The test may include reviewing architectural drawings, designer drawings, window shop drawings, and related project files, identifying missing or conflicting details, and submitting the completed output in PDF format.

Best-Fit Candidate

This role is best for a Revit Drafter, Architectural Drafter, Shop Drawing Drafter, or Revit Detailer with hands-on experience producing technical construction/shop drawings.

Not a fit for candidates with only VA, admin, rendering, or basic drafting support experience.
