The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) is responsible for driving revenue growth, optimizing pricing strategies, and enhancing business market presence. This role oversees commercial functions, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and long-term business sustainability

Authorities & Accountabilities:

Strategic Business Role 

  • Serve as a key member of the CEOs executive team, contributing to the development and execution long-term strategic plan.
  • Lead initiatives that drive business growth, market expansion, and profitability. 
  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships to enhance revenue opportunities and competitive advantage.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Direct and oversee Revenue Management, Planning, Customer Engagement, Corporate Communication, Onboard Experience, E-Commerce & Distribution, and Outsource Management to drive strategic growth. 
  • Provide leadership and interact extensively with function heads to ensure alignment with business objectives and operational efficiency.
  • Lead the development of function commercial and strategic plans, focusing on systems, program development, quality, fiscal management, compliance, outreach strategies, and work culture enhancement. 
  • Advise the CEO on strategic business development and corporate planning, making key recommendations on major business decisions. 
  • Take charge in high-priority crises, ensuring minimal impact on commercial operations and overall company performance. Oversee and execute the annual planning and budgeting process, ensuring financial targets align with strategic goals. Foster effective collaboration between functions, ensuring an integrated approach to providing services and fulfilling the company's objectives. Monitor division performance against set goals, ensuring progress is tracked, and corrective actions are implemented when necessary.
  • Encourage managerial positions to evaluate and implement actions that align with companys overall strategy, driving high performance. 
  • Expand outreach activities and referral networks, forming strategic partnerships to support business growth. Shape and develop function strategy and organization, identifying opportunities and mitigating potential risks. 
  • Work through the management team to reduce costs, enhance revenues, and achieve utilization and quality goals by analyzing and utilizing business data. 
  • Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and corporate governance policies across all commercial functions. Perform other duties as required.

Qualification

  • Minimum of 15 years of management in Airline industry experience with at least 3-5 years in a CCO role.
  • Strong leadership skills and a team player. Strong analytical skills to investigate various growth alternatives and make optimum recommendations to the company. 
  • Strong negotiation skills. 
  • Strong communication skills and a leadership style that inspires staff and promotes professional development and innovation. Positive thinking.
  • Ability to anticipate various alternatives in a timely fashion. 
  • Ability to set goals, build accountability, and follow through. 
  • Ability to possess strategic dexterity and significant operational experience directing diverse multiple lines of business to include investment services to meet overall corporate goals and objectives.
