Finance Manager (Prefer Technology or Digital industry)

Responsibilities

• Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team.
• Providing strategic recommendations to the CEO and members of the executive management team to aid in
• long-term and short-term decision making, and financial planning.
• Contract outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs as
• necessary.
• Seek out methods for minimizing financial risk to the company.
• Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial
• reporting.
• Reviewing all formal finance, HR, Marketing, and IT related procedures.
• Controlling income, cash flow and expenditure.
• Managing budgets, developing and managing financial systems/models.
• Carrying out business modelling and risk assessments.
• Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports.
• Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings.
• Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes.
• Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.
• Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.

Qualification

• Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 5 years+ experience in accounting and/or financial analysis
• Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information ·
• Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners.
• Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools such as SQL, Access, etc.
• Strong demonstrated use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong organization, prioritization and time management skills
• Eager to learn new technologies and techniques.
