Software Engineer, Data Science

Job brief

We are hiring a talented data scientist to work on the latest ML, DL, and NLP challenges. You will use a variety of data science and statistical methods to build and enhance our data annotation processes, prediction models, and machine-generated insights.

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions
• Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development
• Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques
• Build custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets
• Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data science, data analytics, or a related discipline
• High proficiency in Python, Tensorflow, SQL, and Elasticsearch
• Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks
• Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests, and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications
• A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques
• Experience working with data storage and mining technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Selenium, Scrapy, etc)
• University degree in statistics, artificial intelligence, computer science, or a related field
