Job Brief

To help us build functional systems that improve product experience, we are now looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer. They will be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues and implementing integrations that meet our customers' needs. If you have a solid background in software engineering and are familiar with C#, SQL or Python, wed love to speak with you.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure and tools necessary for efficient and reliable software development, deployment, and operation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and quality assurance, to identify and address technical requirements and bottlenecks
• Automate software deployment, monitoring, and scaling processes to ensure rapid and reliable releases
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, including build, test, and deployment automation
• Implement and manage configuration management to ensure consistent and efficient server configurations
• Monitor system performance and reliability, and proactively identify and address issues to minimize downtime and improve overall system health
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and infrastructure-related issues in a timely manner
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in DevOps, and recommend and implement improvements to enhance development and delivery processes
• Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats

Preferred qualifications:

• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
• Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
• Proficient with git and git workflows
• Good knowledge of C# or Python
• Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Demonstrated expertise in cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing
• Working knowledge of databases and SQL
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Splunk
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
