Job Brief
Wizpresso is now hiring for our Summer 2026 internship program! Whether you're in your first, penultimate, or final year of university, we're seeking sharp, ambitious talent to join us. As a Data Engineering Intern, you'll collaborate with our engineering teams to integrate LLMs and RAG into our SaaS products, enhancing capabilities like automated due diligence, document analysis, and ESG intelligence.

What You'll Do

• Work with the data science team to design, implement, and optimize LLMs and RAG systems for SaaS platforms like Adnoto and Factify.
• Collect, preprocess, and structure data to support LLM training and RAG retrieval pipelines.
• Apply machine learning techniques to fine-tune LLMs for tasks like text generation, summarization, and clause extraction in legal and financial documents.
• Develop and test RAG frameworks to improve contextual accuracy and relevance in document analysis and search functionalities.
• Use Python, SQL, and relevant libraries (e.g., Transformers, LangChain) to build and deploy AI-driven features.
• Conduct experiments to evaluate model performance, iterating on hyperparameters and retrieval strategies to enhance output quality.
• Assist in integrating LLM and RAG outputs into user-friendly dashboards and workflows for real-time insights.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify opportunities for AI-driven automation in capital markets and legal workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align AI enhancements with customer needs and product goals.
• Stay current with advancements in LLMs, RAG, and generative AI, proposing innovative applications for Wizpresso's products.
• Document workflows, model architectures, and findings for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support the creation of reports and presentations to showcase AI improvements and their business impact.
• Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions to foster collaboration.

What We're Looking For

• Enrolled in a STEM-related bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, mathematics, statistics, or a relevant field.
• Eligible for the STEM Internship Scheme https://www.itf.gov.hk/en/support-measures/stem-internship-scheme/index.html
• Available for a three (3) month internship in Summer 2026 (June–August), eligible for up to 90 days under the STEM internship program.
• Proficient in Python and SQL; experience with libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face Transformers is a plus.
• Strong understanding of LLMs, generative AI, and RAG concepts, with hands-on experience preferred.
• Ability to handle complex datasets and repetitive tasks with precision and attention to detail.
• Proactive, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality results.
• Familiarity with financial markets, legal due diligence, or ESG frameworks is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of SaaS product development or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a bonus.
