Job Overview:
As the Senior Accountant Client Manager, you will help manage client relationships, oversee job delivery, and ensure client satisfaction. This role involves a blend of client interaction and accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Compliance Processing when required.
- Preparation of Financial Statements & Tax Returns and management reporting.
- Other client compliance such as Activity Statements, FBT Returns, TPAR [Contractor reporting], STP Reporting, Payroll Tax Returns, etc.
- Business Advisory/Value add work such as three-way forecasting, tax planning etc as directed/required.
- Mentoring / support other team members.
- Client care point of contact/management of a group of clients.
- Participation in team training, events, and continuous improvement.
- Any other undertaking as and when required.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in an accounting / client-facing role in a public practice accounting firm.
- Proficiency in accounting software Xero.
- Strong technical knowledge of tax matters relevant to small & medium-sized businesses and high-net-worth individuals
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and tasks simultaneously.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
