Job Summary:

As our team keeps growing, we are looking for another great Senior Tax Accountant. You will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of accounting production, with a focus on preparing, reviewing, and analysing financial statements and tax obligations.

Candidates interested in joining our team must meet certain criteria. Specifically, we require a minimum of 4+ years of Australian Public Accounting experience. Additionally, candidates should have a solid understanding of Australian tax regulations and bookkeeping practices.

In addition to being a team player, we are also looking for someone who takes initiative and can communicate effectively with their manager and colleagues.

What we're offering:

  • Salary: Php100,000 - Php125,000 per month + HMO & 13th month pay.
  • Working Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 3:00 pm PH time.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Compiling annual tax returns and financial accounts for various entities, including:
  • individuals
  • sole traders
  • partnerships
  • companies; and
  • trusts.
  • Handling monthly and quarterly payroll.
  • Participating in monthly company and taxation training sessions.

Skills Required:

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • CPA or CA accreditation (desirable).
  • Xero certified advisor and/or Xero payroll certified (desirable).
  • Very well organised and able to meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically while paying attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Experience working with complex group structures.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple clients and businesses.
  • A solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles and concepts.
  • Eager to learn, with a passion for staying up to date with emerging trends and technologies in accounting and finance.
