Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant/ Manager with 5+ years of Australian public practice experience to join our team. You will play a crucial role in leading and mentoring our accounting staff, overseeing financial operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of Financial Statements & Income Tax Returns.
- Tax compliance for all entities including Trusts, Companies, SMSF and Partnerships.
- FBT, BAS and IAS preparation.
- Preparing strategic advice for client meetings.
- Identifying potential opportunities, researching, and solving complex tax issues and being able to communicate that advice to partners/clients.
- Identifying and implementing new technologies that can streamline workflow and improve our client's businesses.
- Tax planning ability for High-Net-Worth Clients.
- Able to provide SMSF strategies to assist financial planners in preparing formal advice documents.
- Must be able to use MYOB, Xero, Intuit, Reckon, BGL and Microsoft Office.
