Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant/ Manager with 5+ years of Australian public practice experience to join our team. You will play a crucial role in leading and mentoring our accounting staff, overseeing financial operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. 

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of Financial Statements & Income Tax Returns.
  • Tax compliance for all entities including Trusts, Companies, SMSF and Partnerships.
  • FBT, BAS and IAS preparation.
  • Preparing strategic advice for client meetings.
  • Identifying potential opportunities, researching, and solving complex tax issues and being able to communicate that advice to partners/clients.
  • Identifying and implementing new technologies that can streamline workflow and improve our client's businesses.
  • Tax planning ability for High-Net-Worth Clients.
  • Able to provide SMSF strategies to assist financial planners in preparing formal advice documents.
  • Must be able to use MYOB, Xero, Intuit, Reckon, BGL and Microsoft Office.
