Job Overview:

As the Senior Accountant / Client Manager, you will help manage client relationships, overseeing project delivery, and ensuring client satisfaction. This role involves a blend of client interaction and accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Compliance Processing when required:
  • Preparation of periodical Activity Statements.
  • Preparation of Financial Statements & Tax Returns.
  • Other client compliance such as FBT Returns, TPAR [Contractor reporting], STP Reporting, Payroll Tax Returns, etc.
  • Mentoring / support other team members.
  • Client Care point of contact/management of a group of clients.
  • Assistance in projects as and when required.
  • Participation in team training, events, and continuous improvement.
  • Business Advisory / Value add work as directed / required.
  • Any other undertaking as and when required.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting / client-facing role in a public practice or accounting firm.
  • Proficiency in accounting software Xero.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and tasks simultaneously.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
