About the Role 

As a Senior Accountant / Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in the success of the team and the firm by:

  • Providing team guidance and offering expert technical advice.
  • Collaborating with Senior Management to enhance operational efficiencies and streamline processes.
  • Delegate and review less experienced team members' work.
  • Preparation of annual tax returns & financial accounts for:
    • Individuals
    • Sole traders
    • Partnerships
    • Companies
    • Trusts

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 4 years experience in an Australian Public Practice Accounting firm.
  • Strong team member management skills with the ability to motivate and hold team members accountable for their performance
  • At least 2+ years as a manager or team leader.
  • Proven track record in workflow management and meeting client deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience serving a wide range of clients and industries.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Xero.
  • Excellent communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
