Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Client Project Manager to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud software implementation and training, with essential experience in the accounting industry.

As the Client Project Manager, you will oversee client projects, provide expert training, and guide clients in adopting best-practice methodologies, ensuring their long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead and manage client projects from initiation through to successful implementation, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Software Implementation & Training: Provide remote installation, configuration, and personalized training on a variety of cloud software solutions tailored to meet client needs.
  • Client Relationship Management: Foster and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients, acting as their main point of contact and trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Technical Support: Offer ongoing technical support to clients through various channels, including phone, email, and online meetings, to resolve any issues that arise.
  • Expert Knowledge Development: Stay ahead of industry trends by continuously developing an expert level of knowledge in cloud software solutions.
  • Educational Content Creation: Create, maintain, and distribute instructive materials and online coursework to support client education and software adoption.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously refine and enhance implementation, documentation, and adoption processes to drive greater efficiency and client satisfaction.

Skills & Experience:

  • One year experience working in a public practice accounting firm.
  • A thorough understanding and enthusiasm for technology and cloud applications such as Xero, Xero Practice Manager, Xero Workpapers, Ignition and FYI / Suite Files.
  • Experience in implementing and integrating software either in a client or vendor role.
  • Experience with client support and training, both one-on-one and in small groups, via online sessions.
  • Exceptional multitasking skills, with the ability to conduct multiple projects concurrently.
  • High attention to detail, strong interpersonal, organisational, and time management capabilities.
  • Able to work in a team as well as independently.
  • Proactive attitude, complemented by a good sense of humour!
