Position Summary:

You'll play a vital role on our team, delivering exceptional accounting and tax services to our valued clients. Your responsibilities will include preparing financial statements, managing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with regulations -  all while building strong relationships with clients and collaborating closely with your colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process annual financial statements for all types of entities.
• Prepare Income tax returns and Business Activity Statements (BAS).
• Assist with Xero payroll services.
• Contribute to tax planning figures and analysis.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the timely and accurate completion of financial reports.
• Enhance accounting processes and systems to boost efficiency and accuracy.
• Manage ATO client correspondence and queries.

Key Requirements:

As an Accounting Ninja, you will keep yourself informed about the latest changes in tax laws, and you will always be diving into tax research. Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Australian public accounting, focusing on tax and financial statement preparation.
• Proficiency in Xero, BGL360, CAS360 and Active Workpapers.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong client service orientation and interpersonal skills.
