Salary: Between 70,000 and 90,000 Pesos per month (depending on experience)
Experience: 4+ years of Australian Business Accounting/Bookkeeping/Payroll/BAS Experience
Training: In-depth training provided and potential for career growth available
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm AEST (Holidays aligned to Australia, with additional Philippine holidays agreed to)

Job Summary
We are looking for someone with a great work ethic and a willingness to learn. Your loyalty and dedication will be rewarded at our small bookkeeping practice.
As a Senior Bookkeeper, you will be a fundamental key player within our team. You will be responsible for undertaking all production Bookkeeping activities, including the preparation of reports, payroll, and reconciliations.
You will also be involved in refining company procedures and will be required to work solely and exclusively for our firm.
Tasks and responsibilities
Each client has their own requirements, and the activities can include:
- Data entry and bank reconciliation
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Payroll, Pay as You Go withholding (PAYGW) and superannuation processing
- SGC obligations
- Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
- Preparation and lodgement of IAS and BAS
- Preparation of financial reports
- End of year account activities including STP (Single Touch Payroll) finalisation
- Preparation of Taxable Payment Annual reports (TPAR)
Software Knowledge (Preferable but not necessary)
- Xero
- MYOB
- Receipt Bank (dext)
- Karbon
About you
- A positive attitude and willingness to be trained and mentored are required.
- A highly efficient and organised bookkeeper and payroll specialist, with strong attention to detail.
- Desire enjoy sharing your knowledge and experience by providing support to other team members.
- Formal Accounting and bookkeeping qualifications
- Highly efficient and organised, complete work efficiently and in a timely manner
- Attention to detail and ability to problem-solve
- Must be motivated, proactive, and persistent
- Willingness to learn and embrace technology

Performance Appraisals
You will have a 6-month performance review, identifying your strengths and areas for improvement. Salary will be formally reviewed annually, along with the opportunity for you to provide feedback to improve your position and the firm.
