WHAT YOU WILL DO

As the Head of Tax, you won't just sit in an advisory tower. You will lead a lean, agile team and act as the ultimate focal point for all things tax—fluidly moving between high-level tax planning and day-to-day operational execution.

  • Drive Strategy: Design and implement comprehensive tax planning frameworks across multiple active operational entities to optimize efficiency.
  • Be Hands-On: Take full ownership of daily compliance, reporting, and local transfer pricing regulations—leading by example within a small team.
  • Protect & Win: Direct all interactions, audits, and inquiries with the DJP. You will formulate robust defense strategies with a clear focus on maintaining an exceptional win-rate in tax litigation and dispute resolutions.
  • Advise Leadership: Act as a trusted advisor to the CFO and Board of Directors regarding structural changes, commercial expansions, and corporate transactions.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Experience: 15+ years of progressive corporate tax experience, ideally with a strong blend of Top-Tier Consulting (Big 4) and dynamic in-house corporate roles.
  • Leadership Style: A true "player-coach." You are comfortable working within a flat structure and managing a smaller, agile team where you regularly execute operational tasks yourself.
  • Technical Depth: Impeccable, up-to-date knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations, compliance, and corporate tax structures.
  • Litigation Track Record: A proven success/win-rate in handling complex tax audits and legal disputes in tax court.
  • Credentials: Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting, Finance, Fiscal Administration, or Law. Brevet A, B, C, or BKP certifications are a massive plus.
