Head of Data Science

We are looking for a Head of Data Science to lead advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives within a large-scale telecommunication environment. This role will be responsible for turning complex data into actionable insights that drive commercial growth, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making across the business.

You will work closely with senior leaders, business units, and technology teams to build a strong data science capability and deliver measurable business impact through forecasting, personalization, and predictive analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and scale the data science function, including machine learning and advanced analytics initiatives.
• Develop and execute a data science strategy aligned with business priorities and the analytics roadmap.
• Build and oversee predictive models to optimize commercial and operational performance.
• Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
• Drive improvements in customer engagement, personalization, and conversion through data-driven solutions.
• Collaborate with business, IT, product, and analytics teams to embed data science into core processes and products.
• Partner with external technology vendors, AI platforms, and industry networks to adopt best practices and innovations.

What Were Looking For

• Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in data science, analytics, or technology roles, preferably in large or complex organizations.
• Strong expertise in machine learning, predictive modeling, and advanced analytics.
• Proven ability to translate data into business impact and influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience working across cross-functional teams in fast-paced, data-driven environments.
• Strong leadership capability with a strategic, results-oriented mindset.
