Job Description
We are representing a reputable high technology company within a large-scale consumer and distribution-driven industry. They are looking for a Head of Strategy & Performance Management to strengthen business performance through disciplined planning, robust analytics, and structured performance governance. The successful candidate will act as a strategic partner to business leaders, translating data into actionable recommendations that improve outcomes and organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Performance Review: Conduct in-depth analysis of regional sales and operational performance to identify gaps, trends, and root causes affecting results.
- KPI Management: Define, monitor, and refine key performance indicators to ensure alignment with business objectives and execution priorities.
- Variance Analysis: Track and explain financial and operational variances, identifying risks and improvement opportunities to support corrective actions.
- Forecasting & Planning: Lead forecasting and planning processes to improve accuracy, scenario readiness, and forward-looking decision support.
- Reporting Governance: Ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance across reporting processes by enforcing standards and validation controls.
- Dashboard & Insights: Design and maintain standardized dashboards and insight frameworks that enable clear performance visibility for leadership.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with sales, operations, finance, HR, and IT teams to align performance insights with execution plans.
- Continuous Improvement: Review Home Business performance holistically and recommend strategic and operational enhancements to improve efficiency and results.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business, Management, Analytics, Finance, or a related field.
- Masters degree in Business Analytics, Sales, or Operations is preferred.
- Typically 10+ years of experience in performance management, business controlling, sales analytics, or operational reporting.
- Strong background in KPI design, variance analysis, and management reporting.
- Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights.
- Experience working in multi-region or large-scale sales environments is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with analytics tools, dashboards, and enterprise reporting systems.
