As an HR Generalist in the renewable energy industry, you will play a vital role in supporting the human resources needs of our growing organization. You will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and benefits administration. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring that our employees are engaged, motivated, and aligned with our company's mission of driving sustainable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Onboarding:

    • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the renewable energy industry.
    • Coordinate the entire onboarding process, including job offers, paperwork, and orientation.
    • Ensure new hires have the necessary tools and training to succeed in their roles.
  • Employee Relations:

    • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts.
    • Manage employee relations issues, such as disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans.
    • Provide guidance on employee policies and procedures.
  • Performance Management:

    • Develop and implement performance management systems to evaluate employee performance and identify areas for improvement.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to employees.
    • Assist in developing career paths and succession plans for employees.
  • Benefits Administration:

    • Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and time off policies.
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable benefits regulations.
    • Respond to employee inquiries related to benefits.
  • HR Projects and Initiatives:

    • Participate in HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys, diversity and inclusion programs, and talent acquisition strategies.
    • Analyze HR data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in the renewable energy industry.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment law.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and systems.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
  • Knowledge of renewable energy technologies and industry trends.
  • Certification in Human Resources (SHRM-CP, PHR).
