About the job Senior Investment Director
On behalf of our client, one of the largest global engineering and construction companies, and we are currently seeking a Senior Investment Director to lead their investment endeavors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify Investment Opportunities: Research and explore potential investment opportunities with promising returns that align with the company's goals and financial strategies.
- Strategic Investment Planning: Evaluate and strategize opportunities for diversifying the business through strategic investments in new sectors or markets.
- Investment Project Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analyses of potential investment projects, including legal and financial assessments, to ensure informed decision-making.
- Investment Reports: Prepare detailed investment reports, outlining the financial and legal status of prospective projects, to present to company stakeholders.
- Term Sheet Preparation: Create well-structured Term Sheets for investment projects, defining investment structures and company arrangements.
- Legal and Financial Due Diligence: Collaborate with legal and financial entities to perform due diligence for investment projects.
- Financial Modeling: Develop and analyze financial models for investment projects, assisting in determining the feasibility and potential returns.
- Relationship Building: Establish and foster relationships with government agencies and entrepreneurs to facilitate investment opportunities and partnerships.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in investment management, with a proven track record of successful investment strategies and decision-making.
- CFA certification is preferred, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial analysis and investment principles.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, capable of conducting in-depth financial evaluations.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities, with the capability to articulate investment proposals clearly to stakeholders.
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with individuals at various levels of government agencies and entrepreneurship.
- Sound knowledge of legal and financial regulations related to investments.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a forward-looking approach to identify and seize investment opportunities.
