We are helping our client in IT solutions company in looking for a Territory Sales Manager who will be pivotal in driving revenue growth within assigned industry territory. The candidate's success will depend on building strong client relationships, identifying high-potential business, closing key opportunities, and implementing effective sales strategies to consistently meet and exceed annual targets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a territory sales plan specifically targeting banking and financial institutions to drive revenue and market share for IT Solutions.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the assigned accounts territory
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within banking and finance institutions.
  • Present and demonstrate IT Solutions to potential clients, addressing their specific needs around security, compliance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, with a focus on long-term contracts and recurring revenue streams.
  • Work closely with internal teams (marketing, pre-sales, sales operations, customer success) to optimize sales efforts tailored to the banking and finance sector.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends specific to IT Solutions in the banking and finance industry.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to management, highlighting key opportunities and challenges
  • Understand Compliance and Regulatory requirements for financial institutions and the company can address them.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing, or similar
  • 5+ years of sales experience, with a strong preference for experience selling complex solutions
  • Demonstrated understanding of the banking and finance industry's unique IT Solutions requirements and challenges.
  • Experience with B2B/enterprise Software sales or IT Consulting, preferably with a focus on IT Solutions infrastructure or related technologies.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, particularly with senior-level executives in banking and finance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proven relationships and achievements in the assigned accounts territory, specifically within the banking and finance sector.
  • Familiarity with IT Solutions (e.g., colocation, cloud services, managed services, etc.).
