Responsibilities:
1. **Financial Strategy and Planning:**
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
2. **Fundraising and Capital Management:**
- Leverage a strong background in fundraising to source and secure capital for the company's growth initiatives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential investors, financial institutions, and stakeholders.
- Evaluate and negotiate financing options, ensuring optimal terms and conditions.
3. **IPO Preparation and Execution:**
- Lead the preparation and execution of the Initial Public Offering (IPO) process.
- Collaborate with legal, accounting, and other relevant teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and present financial information for roadshows and investor presentations.
4. **Financial Reporting and Compliance:**
- Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, reports, and regulatory filings.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and other financial laws.
5. **Budgeting and Forecasting:**
- Drive the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting to support strategic planning.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
6. **Risk Management:**
- Identify and assess financial risks, implementing strategies to mitigate and manage them effectively.
- Implement internal controls to safeguard the company's assets and financial integrity.
7. **Team Leadership:**
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
- Attract, develop, and retain top talent within the finance department.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role.
- Successful track record in fundraising and taking a company public (IPO).
- Strong financial modeling, analysis, and strategic planning skills.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and tax laws.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated leadership in driving financial performance and business growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
