About the job Corporate Business Development Manager
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain financial models for evaluating potential investments and business opportunities.
2. Lead and oversee financial analysis and due diligence processes for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions.
3. Prepare detailed financial projections and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
4. Collaborate with business development and investor relations teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
5. Conduct market research and analysis to support business development initiatives.
6. Engage with stakeholders, including external parties such as vendors and clients, to gather insights and perspectives relevant to business decisions.
7. Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members involved in financial analysis and modeling.
8. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards.
9. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management to convey financial insights and recommendations.
10. Demonstrate humility and openness to learning, including willingness to engage with stakeholders at all levels and gather insights from various sources.
Requirements:
1. At least 5 years of experience in corporate finance, preferably with a focus on transaction advisory, gained from a Big 4 or similar environment.
2. Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with a track record of involvement in Deals, Transaction Services. Strong in Merger & Acquisition
3. Proven ability to develop and interpret financial projections and forecasts.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
5. Demonstrated leadership qualities, including decisiveness and the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
6. Willingness to conduct hands-on research and engage directly with relevant stakeholders, including field visits if necessary.
7. Humility and openness to feedback, with a commitment to continuous learning and skill development.
8. Familiarity with business development processes and the ability to differentiate between sales and strategic business development.
9. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, particularly in conducting market research and financial analysis.
