About the job Head of Human Resource - Mandarin Speaker
Requirements:
- Fluent in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Masters degree preferred.
- Extensive experience in human resources management, preferably in the financial services industry or private equity firms.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices in China and other relevant regions.
- Strong understanding of compensation and benefits structures, talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management.
- Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Exceptional leadership and managerial skills, capable of leading a team and fostering a positive work culture.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and other relevant software.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute HR strategies and initiatives that align with the firm's objectives and promote a high-performance culture.
- Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring the acquisition of top talent to support the firm's growth and expansion in Mandarin-speaking regions.
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with local regulations.
- Implement and maintain HR policies, procedures, and practices to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risks.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance evaluations, career development, and employee engagement.
- Lead and mentor the HR team, fostering their professional development and promoting a collaborative work environment.
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations in Mandarin-speaking regions, ensuring compliance and adapting HR practices accordingly.
- Collaborate with senior management and other departments to address strategic HR issues and contribute to the overall success of the firm.
