We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Human Resources to lead my client's people operations and drive organizational excellence. This role is pivotal in shaping our company's future by optimizing HR processes, establishing robust standard operating procedures (SOPs), and fostering a high-performance, positive work culture. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned HR leader with a proven track record of implementing impactful HR initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Leadership:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive HR strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
    • Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on all HR-related matters.
    • Oversee all aspects of the HR function, including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and training and development.
  • Process Optimization and SOP Development:
    • Conduct thorough audits of existing HR processes and identify areas for improvement.
    • Design and implement streamlined HR processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive HR SOPs to ensure consistency and compliance.
    • Implement HR technology solutions to automate and optimize HR operations.
  • Culture Creation and Employee Engagement:
    • Cultivate a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement and retention.
    • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee morale and satisfaction.
    • Establish and promote a strong company culture that aligns with the organization's values.
    • Lead initiatives to foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
    • Implement employee feedback systems, and ensure that feedback is acted upon.
  • Talent Management and Development:
    • Develop and implement effective talent acquisition and retention strategies.
    • Design and implement performance management systems that drive employee performance and development.
    • Create and manage training and development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
    • Ensure proper succession planning.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
    • Manage HR-related risk and ensure appropriate policies and procedures are in place.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in a resource heavy industry is a plus.
