Director of Operational - Plastic Rein

We are a leading local conglomerate company in Indonesia, specializing in the plastic resin industry. We are currently seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Operational Director to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for all operational functions, including production, planning, quality control, and maintenance.
• Ensure the company operates in compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
• Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.
• Oversee the development and implementation of effective policies and procedures to optimize production efficiency and effectiveness.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the operational team.
• Lead and mentor a team of talented professionals, fostering their development and growth.
• Partner with the CEO to establish and manage annual operating budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost control.
• Monitor and analyze production activities, identifying cost-saving opportunities and areas for optimization.
• Manage profit and loss (P&L) statements, ensuring financial accountability and profitability.
• Plan, organize, and direct day-to-day operations to consistently exceed customer expectations.
• Oversee production output, ensuring consistent quality and on-time delivery.
• Represent the company in industry forums and events (as needed).

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering. 
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role, such as Director, General Manager, or Plant Manager.
• Proven track record of success in leading and managing complex operational functions within the plastic resin industry, with experience in both virgin and recycled resins and injection molding processes (preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire, and build a high-performing team.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and a willingness to think outside the box.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and strong English communication skills (active and passive Mandarin is a plus).
