Job Responsibilities:
As the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the marketing strategy to support business growth and strengthen brand presence within the logistics sector. Key responsibilities include:
- Marketing Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement the overall marketing plan aligned with the business objectives and market trends.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in the logistics industry.
- Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to develop campaigns that drive lead generation, customer retention, and business development.
- Branding & Positioning:
- Strengthen the company's brand presence by developing clear value propositions and positioning strategies that differentiate us from competitors.
- Oversee all branding efforts, including digital marketing, print materials, and trade show promotions.
- Digital Marketing & Lead Generation:
- Manage and optimize digital marketing channels including the company website, social media platforms, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and content marketing.
- Track and measure the performance of digital campaigns, adjusting strategies to maximize ROI and lead generation efforts.
- Content Creation & Public Relations:
- Lead content creation efforts, including blogs, whitepapers, case studies, and social media content to highlight services and expertise.
- Manage media relations and develop PR strategies to enhance brand visibility through press releases, media partnerships, and industry events.
- Customer Engagement & Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers and industry partners through targeted campaigns, events, and customer engagement strategies.
- Lead customer feedback initiatives to identify areas of improvement and new marketing opportunities.
- Event Planning & Trade Shows:
- Organize and oversee participation in logistics industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
- Plan and execute promotional events, webinars, and customer appreciation programs to generate interest in services.
- Budgeting & Performance Analysis:
- Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources to achieve optimal results for various campaigns and initiatives.
- Monitor marketing KPIs, track campaign effectiveness, and generate detailed reports for management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. A Masters degree would be an advantage.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the logistics, supply chain, or transportation industry.
- Proven ability to develop and implement successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, platforms, and analytics (SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, etc.).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, operations, and product teams.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in marketing software (CRM, email marketing tools, etc.) and design platforms (Adobe Creative Suite is a plus).
